网页2009年2月17日 · CAD Exchanger does a pretty fast mesh-to-shape conversion, so you can use this to import, for example, an OBJ file directly as a Shape. So far everything gets triangulated, though. The biggest interest is the support for additional file formats not available in FreeCAD, for ex. Parasolid XT, Rhino 3DM or ACIS/SAT files.

So, now, i think FreeCad is not useful for me; it's great for drawing 3D (simple) but if i cannot export any CAD format it's crazy !! What do you think about using T-Flex CAD student edition (it's not for commercial use) ? Thanks for help.

I am CAD illiterate, so I have got only as far as downloading FreeCAD. How do I : a) change the coordinate calls from X/Y to N/E, or b) convert N/E coordinates to X/Y calls.
