Mercury,some years had bad electrical parts (coils,voltage regulators)Optimax are good,but also had some electrical problems. 网页2021年2月18日 · Don’t quote me on this, but I have a note that 40,50,60 has a troll control range of 700-1000 RPM’s, and the 75-115 is 550-1000 RPM’s. The low voltage override can be bypassed by simply reengaging troll control. Regardless of what you use to control it whether it’s a switch or a gauge it operates the same. Ralph Bechtold.

I would actually really like a Honda as that is what my dad has on his boat (200HP) and it is a sweet runner. However, I think that may be a needle in a haystack scenario.

网页2019年1月21日 · I had an 07 90 opti on a 1750 FishHawk. They are half of the 3 liter v-6 opti. No problems with it and the guy I sold it to loves it. Make sure and use the opti oil or one that is for direct injection and let it warm up before taking off. A buddy of mine had the early 115 opti that used the 150 block. That thing was a beast for a 115.

Neither motor was ever in the shop other than preventative maintenance under our watch. Once Mercury took them over it was a Chrysler design with Mercury parts.
