The entire city of Richmond is being told to boil drinking water and to not use tap water to wash dishes or brush teeth.

Columbia Water has issued a boil water advisory for Cricket Hill Apartments, in Richland County, after a water main break.

All residents north of Interstate 70 and south of Highway 370 were put under the advisory until Wednesday morning.
