Tayce Szura-Radix has made history, becoming the first drag queen to win the UK version of Strictly Come Dancing . Szura-Radix, best known for appearing on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK in 2021, triumphed in the Christmas special of the dance show, winning the contest with professional partner Kai Widdrington.

Tayce Szura-Radix is a 30-year-old professional drag queen and model from Wales. She first shot to prominence in 2021 as a contestant on the second series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK – which in itself proved to be a notable season as filming was forced into postponement due to the Covid pandemic.

On her comeback after lockdown, Tayce went from strength to strength and, was a member of Drag Race girl group, the United Kingdolls, who landed a huge hit on the iTunes chart with their version of UK Hun. Tayce ended up finishing third in the season 2 final in 2021, before touring the UK with United Kingdolls and as a solo act.

Hampshire's very own Widdrington, who grew up in Chandler's Ford, won the special with RuPaul's Drag Race UK star Tayce.

Strictly Come Dancing returned to screens for a special festive competition and crowned it's 2024 Christmas champions.
