The latter end of Williams’ statement subtly referred to her 2020 solo tour schedule. During the height of the pandemic, Williams released her long awaited debut solo studio album, Petals for Armor. Like all other artists, due to public safety concerns Williams’ supporting tour was interrupted.

Four years after Hayley Williams’ first-ever solo tour was canceled amid the Covid pandemic, she hinted that she might embark on the trek next year.

In a post celebrating her 35th birthday, Hayley Williams teased that she will be performing a string of solo shows next year.

"I'm going to try and finally play some shows next year that would've happened nearly 5 years ago now," the singer wrote.

This past Friday (Dec. 27), Paramore vocalist Hayley Williams took to Instagram Stories to help commemorate her 36th birthday, and in doing so, she alluded to potentially embarking on her first-ever solo tour sometime next year. In the post – shared by fan account weare_paramore – Williams begins by writing:

Friday (Dec. 27) marked Hayley Williams’ 36th birthday. The Paramore singer took to her Instagram Story to express gratitude for the birthday wishes, and to tease her first-ever solo shows.

Reflecting on a busy 2024 spent on tour for her band's Grammys-conquering 2023 comeback record This Is Why on her 36th birthday last Friday (December 27), Williams hinted that she might finally be making up for those cancelled solo shows in the new year.
