Dr. Stephen Holt, an addiction medicine specialist at Yale, said that one recent medical study revealed that injectable weight loss drugs may also curb user’s cravings for alcohol.

"This is an area in which we haven't had something we felt hopeful about in a while," professor Joseph Schacht said.
