Shohei Ohtani’s historic first season with the Los Angeles Dodgers keeps hitting new heights. He became the first player in major league history to hit 50 home runs and steal 50 bases in a season, surpassing both milestones in Thursday night’s 20-4 victory over the Miami Marlins.

With stolen bases in the first and second inning, and home runs in the sixth and seventh, Dodgers designated hitter became the first member of baseball's 50-50 club on Thursday in Miami. Ohtani's 50th home run of the season against Marlins pitcher Mike Baumann broke the mark and capped a 5-for-5 game.
