An Old Soldier remembers the ten-year war at Troy and the events which led up to it: Paris, Helen, Menelaus, Agamemnon, Priam, Achilles, Patroclus, Hector, Cassandra, Odysseus…and the wooden horse.
It just so happens that Paris is already on his way to see Helen - as he's been invited to her wedding to King Menelaus. Helen falls in love with Paris at the wedding and the two run away to Troy.
