Peter Yarrow, who was part of Peter, Paul & Mary and helped popularize folk music in the early ’60s, has died. He was 86.

Peter, Paul and Mary rose to overnight fame in 1962 when they blended their voices in stunning harmonies as they sang out against war and social injustice.
