It’s a wet start to New Year’s Eve with rain and a few thunderstorms around. The steadiest of the rain is lifting to the north this morning but we keep off and on rain showers around through the day.

One more day of well-above-normal temperatures is in the cards for Green Country before the New Year’s holiday brings some winter back to our area! Yet again we’ll start the morning off with areas of fog in parts of eastern Oklahoma.

A cold front is forecast to sweep through Alabama tonight into Tuesday morning. We will likely see increasing clouds overnight with a chance to see a few sprinkles. Winds will pick up from the southwest tonight at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 20-25 mph.
