Police have identified the Bedford, New Hampshire officer who was shot during a struggle on early Saturday. According to Bedford police, the officer has been identified as 24-year-old Officer David Benway-Fongemie. Officers received a call around 12:53 a.m. on Saturday about a suspicious person at Country Inn & Suites at 250 South River Road.
