Students in school buildings and residents in neighboring homes were told to evacuate after a dangerous chemical began leaking from a railcar Tuesday near Cincinnati.

Residents near Cincinnati were urged to leave their homes due to the chemical leak as officials said there were concerns about a possible explosion.

A plume of highly flammable styrene shot out of the train car, filling the air in the area west of Cincinnati with an odor one resident described as burnt metal.
