Newly instated Mobile Police Chief William Jackson has released a statement regarding recent school threats in the area. Schools in Mobile County and the surrounding areas have seen multiple threats over the last month.

Police are investigating a threat made against Chelmsford High School, officials said Sunday, marking the latest of a series of threats against schools in Massachusetts and nationwide.
