2018年7月1日 · Ac low side Schrader valve. Excuse my ignorance but my ac is working just not as cold as I would like. 1998 bmw 528i. I wanted to check my pressures so I rented a manifold gauge set from autozone the high side registers fine. The low side however, registers no pressure and seems the coupling doesnt even depress the Schrader valve.
how to discharge ac system? or how do i recover the freon?

2007年10月28日 · step 1 remove the 10mm bolt. Then you pull the clutch end off. That's a crappy pic of the end of the clutch and the 10mm nut + washer. Look with a mirror you will see a snap ring. With snap ring pliers you can remove it but this takes patience. Now it's removed you can see the bearing.

2009年5月16日 · The refrigerant will go in very slowly. Use a heat gun on the bottom of the can to speed things up. Do not be tempted to charge in a liquid state (i.e. turning can upside down). Low side blockage usually results in low side pressures way higher than 88 psi. Pressure readings are all dependent on ambient temperature.

2014年5月18日 · Just my 2 cents from my own AC experiences on the e21. Make sure the PO did a proper conversion to R134a. IE flushed the system, removed all the old oil, replaced all the orings, schrader valves, and the expansion valve. If the oil was not changed and the system flushed properly it may cause problems.
