Documentation: "due to the pull of the brachioradialis , it was not possible to reduce the fracture.

2009年8月7日 · All three of the surgeons often do a tentomy of the brachioradialis tendon along with the fracture reduction. I use the 25290 tenotomy code and when I run code check, I do not get any coding edits. BWC is denying the 25290 and our collection specialist thinks maybe they shouldn't be billed together unless there is a separate diagnosis.

NCCI doesn't bundle these together, but I remember reading somewhere that even though NCCI doesn't bundle 25609 & 25290...

2016年1月14日 · Since 64718 generally includes other codes such as 24357, 24310, 25290, & 24359 (according to AAOS GSD) I probably would not append a 22 or add any additional codes if 64718 is what was done. Unless there was clear and specific documentation to support the 22.
