Being as it's April 13th, or 4/13, this is our day to celebrate the 413 wedge engine. What I've yet to share is that in the mid to late seventies, I owned both a 1961 Chrysler 300-G and a 1962 Chrysler 300-H. They were both 413 powered. Really great, luxurious, and powerful cars.

The distributors for the high GVW trucks had very lazy and restricted centrifugal advance curves to allow the use of lower octane fuel and save the pistons while sparking a heavily loaded engine.

2015年2月22日 · I'm thinking that the 413 is a RB. (raised B block) As all RB's had a 3.75 stroke, the cranks and rods are dimensionally the same. Probably the same with the intake. B blocks had a shorter deck height and shorter stroke. (361-383-400) Shorter deck means B and RB intakes don't interchange. Thanks Randy

2013年11月13日 · Welcome to the forum. From the sounds of it, something is wrong or highly modified with the valvetrain, the industrial engine is no different from the car or rare truck engine, or any other RB engine for that matter. It should be the same as the 440, 413 or 426 Wedge.

It had full chrome trim, and full chrome wheel covers, with cars coming in the full color spectrum. The sole engine was the full police-only 413, hooked up to a standard manual floor-shifted 3 speed; there was an optional automatic. 1964 was the Enforcer’s last gasp, and it was dropped at the end of the model season.
