I have made them for 440/144 and 6,10,12,15,17, ahd 20 meters and they are all mounted on 10' TV masts, using squid poles, on my 4' chain link fence as a great counterpoise, which surround my property. I have a 2 Element Lightening Bolt Quad to compare them to as well.

Its really only on high, high-gain VHF or UHF antennas that you maintain polarization integrity, without the degradation (a good thing) of the transmitted polarization by the propagation path. California: 50.0689 K6FV 100 watts. Indiana: 50.0690 W9VW 15 watts. Massachusettes: 50.0699 W1RA 15 watts.

For a rocky summit, I use the diminutive, albeit limited (20/17m resonant) Elecraft AX-1 vertical and a counterpoise wire or two. The Buddi-systems are a good product.

2021年3月5日 · Lots of information for spider beam vertical antennas at the DJ0IP web page, we made a 30 FT mast out of a Galvanized pipe and added the 12-meter mast on top of the pipe for the CQWW CW top band contest. The vertical was top-loaded and worked like a champ on the beach by the pacific ocean. 4D2X was the call.
