Taking a Gamble on a 6900XT Open-Box from New Egg for $530
For the last 10 years I have bought all my PC parts from Newegg. Have had only one issue and that is Sata ports not working on a motherboard after 2 years of use. Of course YMMV. I only buy items from Newegg (I never buy from the market place, there is a toggle for Newegg only) and I only buy brand new items (No Open box or refurb stuff).

The 6950xt has a completely different dye from a revised and retaped silicon. It also has 18gbps memory (upgraded from 16gbps on the 6900xt) and higher clocked infinity fabric. When you take those improvements and then overclock the ASRock 6950xt OC, it can give improvements approaching 10% in some situations. This 6900xt is an excellent model.

I got it back packed just as perfectly as I did when I sent it to them (Credit where it's due). It still works when I plug it in. 3DMark and Heaven execute multiple times just fine.
