You have to be fit for the O-Course, and final Road March but it’s the academic rigor and mental fatigue that make Air Assault School a tough proposition. When I went through in 2007, about 20+ students were dropped because they didn't have everything required for day zero layout. It was only about 20 items and students would show up with no MREs, gloves, running shoes, etc.

2018年8月27日 · Posted 6 y ago. If you're going to Sabalauski Air Assault School at Campbell it's not too bad honestly. I get 230-240 consistently and it wasn't all that demanding. The hardest part is staying awake and the 12 mile ruck march. Aero-med PT is kind of a workout but it's doable as long as you hydrate and rely on your team to accomplish the task.

2019年4月1日 · If looking for a rope to practice with, don't worry about composition, worry about thickness. Anything between 1/2" and 1" will be fine for practice. Plus you will have lots of time to practice while in AAS (during the day, and at night when you go home). If you mean for rapelling, you don't have to tie that, just hook in and slide down.

I bet it isn't as hard today as in 1982. Completely different army today. The best advice I can give you is don't concern yourself with how hard it is.
