The standard E450 wheel/tire is a 16x6" white painted steel wheel with LT225 tires, but options go all the way up to 19.5" alloy wheels and correspondingly larger tires.

We made a deal with them and Goodyear to split the cost to change to RV tires and there was a huge difference in handling. We also make sure the tire date code is within the last couple of months so we get "fresh" tires. ArdraF

2022年6月9日 · Some people do swap the tires from side to side, keeping each pair of duals mated together. If you rotate them that is the proper way to do so. I have never owned a class C but have owned 2 class A coaches with dual tires and was religious about tire care but never rotated them. I did always replace them when 5 years old.
Had our Class C aligned with more positive caster.
2016年8月2日 · The typical truck alignment shop is hard wired to align to specs that produce the least tire wear. On commercial over the road vehicles, tires are the second largest expense, after fuel. It's hard to make them understand that my tires will rot off, long before I wear them out. If I get 50K miles in 10 years I'll be lucky.

2016年7月19日 · the new class a's will tow more, get better MPG, have bigger tires , axels,brakes, radiatior, and more power... the v-10 on the class C's ar 2 valve.. lowest hp motors and the A's get the more hp....the a's have 10 times the storage,,and have way more usable room in side... the cab over design is horrible in the wind and not arrow dynamic

2018年11月12日 · I have changed the mounted tires on both my Class C and more recently Class A with 19.5" wheels. The 19.5" wheel & tire weighs about 125 pounds. I now have a Class A with 22.5" wheels and they weigh around 175 pounds. Moving 125 pounds from the storage and getting it back in storage was difficult.

I had a Ford dealer check everything (40 point or whatever) a couple of months ago, and they checked the box that said brakes were OK. However, vehicle has 104,000 miles and has been driven full-time for just over five years.
