2019年1月31日 · Salt also works. I use a cup almost every month. Had a stop up four years ago and had to snake it. Almost gave up then a sturdy old 3/4" line snake broke though after a few dozen efforts. I'm still going to try the copper sulphate - I suspect it works much better. My drain is operating around 50% or so. The town snakes the main lines with "robots".

2023年7月21日 · I could get the whole tree removed in a year when I am ready, and if so, I guess the roots will just stop growing. If the copper sulfate trick is not an intelligent option, I may have to consider having the tree taken down entirely, but i wanted to ask people FAR more knowledgeable than i am before making any commitments.

2008年7月9日 · This is how mine is plumbed in. On the right you see the copper lines for my DHW, inlet (cold) from the house on top and outlet on bottom into my water heater. On the left are the lines from the boiler, in from boiler on top and out to the heat exchanger in my furnace on bottom. I put unions in on the copper lines for easy removal later.
