For me, the Nash is the better of the three with all things considered. However, I would be very interested to play a Grosh NOS Retro (his traditional strat guitar) with a chunkier neck and different pickups than this RCS.

Grosh makes fantastic guitars that sound very sweet and organic, with his Retro being the flagship vintage sounding guitar.

Finally (completely subjective opinion), after PRS introduced the 594 the regular McCarty does not appeal to me so much. The ideal PRS is the Singlecut 594, IMO. I love Les Pauls and I see the 594 as a slightly modern boutique LP.

网页2019年7月26日 · The Suhr's were fine instruments but the Grosh's l own and others l have played have a little something extra that's hard to put my finger on. I think it may have to do with Grosh building fewer and more hands on in the build process. Just look at how many Suhr guitars are available compared to Grosh. Not that mass producing means inferior.

The Grosh is probably the least like a Jazzmaster -- it has a much smaller body, P90 pickups, and a Strat tremolo. It feels more like a Strat than a Jazzmaster, but looks great and is really comfortable to play.

I also rather sell a guitar online than my amp. My amp is the Two Rock Studio Pro 35 Head. I can't find anything thing of these guitars selling. Anyone think they could shed some light?

网页2010年11月6日 · They need to compare a Grosh RC to a Suhr (Antique) Classic - not a modern, pro series, etc. All Grosh's are universal/swimming pool routed (I know there are a couple of exceptions) compared to Suhr's Classic standard S/S/S routing (unless there is a HB spec'd of course). Grosh's don't have a vintage style truss rod like Suhr Classics.
Best S types: Suhr Antique Classic or Grosh Retro Classic, or....
网页Feb 23, 2019. #2. I own a Retro Classic, but I do not own a Suhr. One thing I will note, the Grosh NOS Retro is more of an apples to apples comparison of classic strat shapes. The RC is less rounded, a little thinner and trimmer. It is a lovely instrument, very resonant.

It would be an all around Great fusion style Guitar. * The Grosh Retro has a very vintage sound and vibe to it. Very easy to get Hendrix/SRV style sounds.
