2023年11月7日 · It's DEFINITELY not real ice cream, and it's absolutely worse than the real deal (especially the texture). But it's more than good enough to satisfy any craving I get. AND, there's only like 500 calories in an entire container! It's awesome! After eating it I don't feel like "damn I wish I had real ice cream" I just feel satisfied.

It's definitely not a dead ringer for ice cream. The texture is quite powdery and the mouthfeel is much thinner. If you want a frozen dessert with fewer calories than ice cream, sorbet is already a thing! If what you want is ice cream, Halo Top does not have the creaminess and doesn't substitute - you are better off with a small ice cream bar.

Halo Top it depends on the flavor, and of course if it’s not been too long since you’ve had real ice cream with real sugar, it will take time for your taste buds to adjust. I’ve always liked mint chip, and I think HTs is pretty good.

2023年11月9日 · I just tried Halo Top, went with PB Cup and Salt Caramel. PB cup is underwhelming, honestly not sure why all the praise. Caramel tastes artificial. Not a fan of either. The only reason i got Halo Top is because my local store ran out of Nick's Ice cream. Ill finish the 2 pints but I am all done with Halo Top.

2020年5月27日 · Mine was pretty much exactly like the consistency of regular ice cream once I left it out for 5-10 minutes. I might give Halo Top another chance, but if they’re upping the calorie counts than I wouldn’t really consider it a “diet” ice cream anymore.
