Most call for a thread length of .4" or .43". Like tesset79 mentioned, AR's & some .22 conversions for them use a thread length of .6" however.

2012年2月26日 · People wanted a .22 LR conversion for their SU-16. We got the SU-22 instead, for a variety of reasons. It's not an AR, where an upper or a barrel can be quickly swapped. The barrel is fixed on the SU. Swapping it is a big deal, at the factory.
