2013年3月6日 · Picked up some N-scale cork roadbed for laying a few yard tracks and it was the old style non-granola bar roadbed. I wonder if this was a batch that was produced only for HO. On a side note - I remember laying new roadbed on an old HO layout my dad picked up and the old roadbed was thicker then the new roadbed.

2019年5月30日 · You don't need roadbed with the Kato Unitrack because the track has roadbed and ballast all in one. IF you want it higher for some reason you certainly can use either product but it already is pretty high. In fact in many cases, such as a yard you may want to bring the ground up so the tracks aren't as high. Cheers, Maurice

2017年2月14日 · I'm to the point of laying roadbed and track on the main level of my layout. It is 40" high and is 24" deep by 100' long. (it goes around 3 of the basement walls) There will be an auto facility, intermodal terminal, an industrial yard and about 15 industries. The area being modelled is Las Vegas, so it's pretty flat.

2014年12月21日 · I used N scale cork roadbed for my track, and glued it to the foam with cheap latex caulk. I glued the track to the roadbed the same way. I don't split the N scale cork apart. I like it because the HO cork has a crappy shoulder that makes it hard to shape a good ballast profile. The N cork is narrow enough that I can shape my own profile.
