Madre Rosetta Marchese nacque ad Aosta il 20 ottobre 1922, in una famiglia dalla fede cristiana profonda e fervida. Fin da fanciulla conobbe e frequentò le Figlie di Maria Ausiliatrice, maturando accanto ad esse la sua fede e il suo ideale di consacrazione totale a Dio.
