Cost difference is $50 between the two models, which is the cost of the grips alone, so you get the stainless frame for free. They both can handle all of the modern loadings.

Two P238 models are still listed on the official website, but the basic "Nitron" model (238-380-B) in particular hasn't been in stock with any online retailer for over a year now.

I put about 100 rounds through it at the range and on four occasions the round did not fire when the hammer fell. After a short wait, I ejected each unfired round and reloaded it into the magazine.
