2022年7月13日 · Was literally having this conversation two days ago with my brother in law and his brother in law(wtf say that 3 times fast). I do not recommend the 10 gun safe. It feels cheaply made nor is it fire rated to any degree. The 24 gun safe is better made and fire rated but is huge and is probably overkill if looking for a 10.

The safe is not fireproof, page 3. Same, just wondering if it’s worth it compared to sentrysafe document safes from HD. Well, it's got a tubular lock, so it's probably pretty easy to pop open with a tubular pick. So if you're using it for actual burglar protection it's probably not great.

2020年6月6日 · Here's a video of u/lockpickinglawyer picking it in under 30 seconds. Make of it what you will. If you tip it on its side, the spring loaded deadbolt falls out, and the safe opens. Have had to do this a few times over the years. This is the larger 1.51cu.ft safe.

(Union Safe Company from Harbor Freight) I got my biggest hammer (sledgehammer) and drove to a remote place with a concrete floor that I could bang away and not disturb anyone. After only a few hits while turning the dial at the right time it opened. What a piece of junk Also: damn lots of hate towards the hammers in the pic.
Anyone know where I can get a good, cheap gun safe?
I don’t need a massive safe, just one with enough room for 4 rifles and 2 handguns, any recommendations are appreciated. I use a stack on security cabinet from tractor supply. I’ve got 4 rifles and 20+ pistols in it, I think. I paid $180 for it plus about $80-$100 to make it nice.

The first lines of defense are security through obscurity (don't put the safe in your living room facing the street windows), the security of your house (don't leave your doors unlocked), and active monitoring (cameras, security systems, etc).

2022年6月21日 · Unfortunately there is no such thing as a RSC rated safe for $400. In my opinion, the best value is in the used safe category. There are lots of quality used safes on the market and if you get one from a locksmith they go through them and make sure the safe works as designed despite some cosmetic wear and tear.

There have been few de novo charters because chartering a bank during ZIRP is just lighting money on fire for many years.
