This allows you not to be tethered to the ground station. Just because a RX says it’s for Fatshark Goggles doesn’t mean you can’t use it.

Multiple people are connected to the switch and it's (the satellite) whole job is to ferry Ethernet frames (whatever encapsulation scheme Starlink is using) to the router. What it does is bridge your encapsulated tcp/ip datagram to the ground station where it's routed onto the Internet backbone.

2021年7月16日 · Being close to a ground station will make no difference for you. Your signal still has to go through the satellite and then back down from the satellite to the ground station. The only thing that might make a difference is the distance to the ground station from the satellite. That may be the difference between 1-3ms.
