In fact, I own a Swiss watch which is marked both "remontoir" and "ancre" [indicating a lever escapement]. And, in fact, the watch does have a lever escapement. It has an anonymous Swiss movement of middling quality. "Remontoir" just means that the watch is stem-wound. "Ancre" just means that the watch has a lever movement.

2024年5月16日 · Remontoir means it stem winds, rather than needing a key. The case looks to have German Hallmarks for 14K gold. It has some enamel fill which is a nice add on. A photo of the complete dial woudl be useful. Dial damage is not good.
