2003年11月6日 · I wish I still had it, because at this point I think I would tap into the water heater gas line and run a hook up for it, like I did in the other house. Its al ot easier than using Kerosene heaters. I used a kerosene heater before and it was a real hassle hauling the fuel and the heater maintenance. Natural gas is about 25% less per BTU value, too.

I didn't know any gas stations in the philly area sold 50 cetene gas. I wish they had biodiesel available in the area. i do notice that a lot of the Hess gas stations have two Kerosene pumps.

But when it comes to summer, they get crappy diesel and it is hard to find Koch Gold during the summer months. What I basically saying is that why don't the stations get Koch diesel year round.

2013年9月10日 · About half the diesel pumps I come across have the skinny "gasoline" sized 13/16" diameter nozzles so you couldn't get fuel. Also seen plenty of RUG pumps with the 15/16" "diesel" nozzles on them which would gladly be accepted in the nanny state misfueling guard. It's too bad the OP didn't bother to look which handle led to which fuel label.

2004年4月18日 · Most gas stations either don't know/care about the different sizes, plus the older 15/16" nozzles cost more than the smaller ones for unleaded fuel due to extremely low demand for the larger size. Originally there were only two sizes of nozzles, the 15/16" for cars (be they gas or diesel) and the large 1 3/16" for the commercial trucks.
