网页2015年1月26日 · Here's my workaround. Keep four or five feet of 3/8" rubber gas line on board. Stick one end in the Jerry can. Droop the hose and hold the other end up. Prop or hold the can higher than your gas spout - one way is foot on the bumper and Jerry can atop your leg. One quick suck and you have a good siphon going.

It would start up cold just fine, warm up and kick down off high idle just like it is supposed to most of the time. Every so often the high idle would be a little rough, then when it kicked down it would die.

I removed mine completely, boxed both sides of the frame, and inserted a new square tube crossmember.
