Home Hub 6 user guide - BT Community
2022年8月15日 · I'm trying to find a user guide / manual for my Home Hub 6. On the BT website there are many manuals including ones for Home Hubs 1.0, 1.5, 2.0,3, 4 & 5 but nothing for HH6! Just wondering if it's been renamed something else? All the HHs look the same to me so can't tell which of the many available manuals might suffice. I have FTTC if that helps.

2023年8月8日 · The issue is that the BT Hub 2 is only Wi-Fi 5 enabled which hampers your connection speeds because Wi-Fi 5 rarely gets over 200mp/s over Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi 6 has been out for a while now and other ISP's give you Wi-Fi 6 enabled Hubs so why has BT not released one yet and upgraded customers that are still stuck with dated technology.
Confusion with BT Hub models
2024年11月11日 · I was sent a newer Hub a few years ago so decided to install this in preparation, this has BT Smart Hub Type A (No number) on the the back and a Wireless SSD starting with BTHub6. I have now seen online people quoting red connections on back of hubs to connect to (I have four yellow) and referring to Hubs as Smart Hub 2 (Version 1).

Use BT Smart Hub ('Home Hub 6') in bridge mode?
2022年12月28日 · You can't, BT hubs don't have a bridge mode. You can, but not sure it will improve the range of your wifi. You can either use it as an expensive Wireless Access Point (WAP) by connecting it to the hub LAN to LAN or as a router with its own subnet by connecting Hub LAN to TP Link WAN.
Is there a difference in the BT Smart Hub 2 and EE hub
2024年1月31日 · EE Smart Hub (2023 - has holes all around the base of the device) - this is a BT Smart Hub 2 in a different case, exactly the same product as proven by a teardown video on YouTube. EE Smart Hub Plus - this is a different and brand new router that has WiFi 6. (No holes in the base, and I believe slightly larger)

2021年12月22日 · Hello, My Hub 6 Manager says that ive had a Firmware Update on 1 March 2022. Its so long ago that i had one and cannot remember if , in order to activate it, i need to do something with the Hub e.g restart it etc. or would it matter if i just left things as they are..... "don't fix what aint broken" springs to mind!!

2023年11月25日 · The new EE Smart Hub Plus supports Wi-Fi 6, BT do not offer that hub, the hub you will have is a standard Smart Hub 2, not the Plus varient, your hub isn't capped or restricted, you have what was meant to be sent.

2022年3月29日 · The new hub is a BT Smart Hub - Type A (BT Hub6) and only has 4 yellow Ethernet ports. I've since looked at the hub managers for each one and found that the Smart Hub 2 allows you to change port 4 to a WAN port to connect full fibre but the new Smart Hub doesn't have this option.
