Oct 2, 2019 · The tomatoes seemed fine with it. (I dry farm.) I bet that soil could benefit from organic stuff since almost any soil does. Corrugated cardboard (remove all tape first) holds in moisture & keeps out weeds. Corrugated cardboard lasts most of the winter here & is beginning to fall apart by the time I plant the tomatoes.

Feb 6, 2017 · They are just 10 ft lengths of concrete reinforcing wire cut from a roll bought from Tractor Supply. Home Depot carries it and probably Menards. Have used the Florida Weave with tomatoes and it worked pretty well too.

Check back in about an hour to see if the water has gone through the fabric and into the ground. May 30, 2014 · I too use the weave. If you pre string all of the fence side you will be fine. I like using only 7 ft T posts. Its more expensive but i scored mine on a price match at home depot for 3.29 a piece. I tried sisal but it sags to much. I use 10 pound braided nylon string line. It does not sag and can be pulled super tight if you want it.

I've cut and pasted what was at Ventmarin below but a Google search brings up other links that also identify Grosse Lisse as being Trophy from the US And I also believe that it makes more sense that Trophy went to England first, then to Australia, in terms of migration patterns, as I see it.

After my strokes and the insidious progression of Alzheimers, most of what I knew is gone. That said, this year I started late and was reduced to getting plants at Lowes and Home Depot.
