2010年1月4日 · They just couldn't get off the bottom of the tank. I was told this may be due to a difference in salinity; my tank was at 1.025 according to the hydrometer provided with the Desktop Tank. So you may want to try starting with a higher salinity so the jellies will be more buoyant when they arrive.

A stock 14 gallon AIO is going to have a filtration system that will very quickly suck a jelly into the intake holes thus killing it.

Posted June 21, 2006. they will die on their own. jellies need circular tanks with circular flow. if not they tend to bump into things and just fall apart. and they can't swim with much force so they will get caught in filters and powerheads. don't worry they should be gone in a short while.

I would run the tank closer to 75-77° for this species, definitely no higher than 78° - tiny tanks are prone to overheating, so better to be on the lower side. Also, being near a window will probably feed algae growth on the glass more than the jelly's zooxanthellae.
