2012年4月4日 · If you are willing to drop the cash, I cannot recommend Aerostich enough. My helmet is a Shoei (RF-1000). Arai also makes great helmets. Boots are Sidi. Gloves by Held (oh, and Gerbing) Get good gear, you won't be disappointed. It's more comfortable in hot and cold typically, not to mention the crash resistances. Also should last a good 5-10 years.

also, maybe an unpopular opinion, but you dont need to wear a full suit of armor. just getting a good helmet and some decent gloves and kneepads will protect you pretty well in the event of a crash. personally I'd rather get a good helmet and good gloves instead of a really cheaply made full set of gear. 17. I've purchased gear through my dealer (nice branded jacket), Cycle Gear (expensive), and motorcyclegear.com (formerly new enough). Motorcycle Gear has become my go to, however. They carry current stuff, but also buy a lot of NOS and overstock of older product, so prices are solid, especially when they are clearancing things out.

2022年1月25日 · I’ve gotten a handful of jackets and pants for under $100 each used and a set of new armor runs less than $100 as well (elbows, shoulders, knees). Would probably go new for gloves as well starting new at $50 or so. All said and done you can have a quality set of gear for around $500 IF you have/take the time to dig.
Tips for clothes and motorcycle gear when commuting?
2021年9月2日 · Take a change of clothes in a backpack and strap it on the back or put it in your saddlebag. I do both because I need work clothes, gym clothes, riding gear, computer etc. I'd just get some casual-ish looking gear and wear it to class. Can't let the ladies (or dudes) forget that I ride a motorcycle haha.
