Feb 10, 2009 · Additionally RV couches (that came with the RV) are matched to holes drilled in the floor, to keep it from going anywhere. You really don't want a household couch in there that could go flying some direction like a missile if you were ever in the crash. Not a nice thought I know, but something you've got to consider.
J-Couch replacement on a 26 1/2 slideout platform ..Any ideas...
Jan 16, 2010 · If you unbolt the couch from the platform, you would know pretty quick if the slide was any less rigid than before. My couch was also bolted to the floor, but more so to provide rigidity to the couch, not the rig. You would have to relocate that speaker under the couch, but that is minimal. I would take it out and see what happens.

The more I learned about the crappy factory materials and the simular replacements, I went to a quality auto upholstery outlet and picked out quality material to have my couch parts recovered.

Aug 9, 2014 · I have lived in my 2005 Journey 39k long enough now (second owner, mine now for 4 years) to understand how I would best use the living space that is present. I do not use the J-Couch much, and don't need it for sleeping space. I would like, I think, to remove the J-Couch and replace it with one or two swivel/recliner Euro style chairs.
