Shelley Duvall in THE SHINING is brilliant, no performance ever captured the stress and paranoia of fear, yet the critics hated her performance and she even got a Razzie nomination. Go Figure! Very similar music and visual. The start reminds me of the Dirty Harry movies. Two prominent contributors The Shining has in common with Blade Runner…Greg MacGillivray and Joe Turkel. Quite a bit of intrusion from the lens hood there in some shots. Good to see the full frame of the old rotor blades above the Overlook.
